Kali's Bio

Hi. My name is Kali. I'm a 12 month old Calico (female) believed to bring good luck in the folklore of many cultures. I am sassy, spunky, and spontaneous. I love to gaze out the window, play hide-n-seek, and attack all moving body parts. At the tender age of 6 months my mom was diagnosed with a rare illness and unable to care for me so I was placed for adoption at the Animal Rescue League where I remained in foster care for 3 days and 2 nights before being adopted by my new family.
I'll be entertaining you with some light material while my mom constructs her website. I don't know what that means, but she seems determined and focused. So that I don't feel left out, my mom assigned to me two mission critical job duties; monitoring printer output and shredding of all sensitive material. Being the business-savvy, career-minded feline that I am, I have negotiated into my contract of employment frequent breaks and snacks for payment of services rendered. Equal pay for equal work. I will be posting snippets of a day in the life of Kali in between catnaps and job duties so I hope you tune in.

I wish my mom the best of luck in her endeavor though some say that "cats are dangerous companions for writers because cat watching is anear perfect method of writing avoidance." ~Dan Greenburg
